Feel The Love

This is a lovely meditation which we are practicing in yoga this month.


The Loving Kindness Meditation originates in the Buddhist tradition. It encourages us to cultivate unconditional and positive emotions as we send goodwill, kindness and love to others and ourself whilst repeating a series of mantras.

It can be a very effective self-care technique to boost well-being as the first part focusses on sending love and kindness to ourself.


So on this Day of Love, why not give the Loving Kindness Meditation a try - and FEEL THE LOVE!


Here are the mantras to repeat to yourself whilst you feel love, health and happiness - I like to place a hand on the heart space (middle of the chest) as a gesture to instill the words even deeper:


  • May I be filled with loving kindness

  • May I be well

  • May I be peaceful and at ease

  • May I be happy
