Massage in detail

Massage is an age old healing system; touch an important human need, it can relieve, reassure & restore. Whatever your sport, work or leisure pursuit, increasingly people are turning to massage for its wide ranging benefits.

Regular massages can support existing exercise regimes and assist the rehabilitation of many common ailments and injuries including back & shoulder pain, muscles strains and other musculoskeletal problems, reducing inflammation in sore muscles. Massage brings suppleness to muscles, frees up and mobilises joints, helping to realign the body and improve posture.

Sorrel offers a variety of different massages & bodywork, including Remedial Deep Tissue, Swedish and Thai Yoga Massage.

Treatments are tailored to the individual and are suitable for everyone: young or old, male or female, healthy and fit or those with chronic illnesses. If you run, play football or netball, sit at a desk all day, dig up your garden or rush around after your children or grandchildren, then massage will help.
